failed ecu? 200

89 245 m47, new rebuilt 398 head, K cam, adj gear, LH 2.4, 951 ecu....

i have replaced the amm, o2 and checked the thermo and tps at the ecu harness...

they are all working good and timing is spot on as well...plugs are new, cap and rotor are fairly new as are the plug wires. so heres my thing, my car backfires, (intake) and wont rev past 3k, it stops like theres no fuel. i have checked for vacuum leaks everywhere and cant find anything...if i disconnect the tps the thing runs beautifully, i can rev it and it wont backfire..it will rev all the way to redline no problem, this is all in nuetral...no driving...

so i was supposed to be going home finally for the 1st in my 9 years of service..well what a let down...im burning money and leave right now at home...

anyone think i should swap the ecu? and if anyones in arkansas to help me i would love you, i called a yard here today waiting for their reply...they will probably want way too mcuh for a used ecu..how much should i look to pay for a junkeyard ecu?

ebay has em cheap..but ihave no time for shipping lol..
