Volvo not meeting its potential 700 1988

I'm super frustrated and hope someone can give me helpful advice. My turbo wagon has 340 000 km and has been running rough since I purchased it a year ago. In the city it is only getting 350 km on a full tank of gas. At intersections the idle is eratic and the car sometimes stalls. I've repalced the idle control module, air flow meter, O2 sensor, alternator, plugs and fuel pump. Can anyone give me some advice on what I should try next? I love my volvo and hate that it is not living up to its full potential. Thank-you in advance!
