God bless you all! S90-V90

Transmission shops everywhere depend on owners not changing fluid and filter. I've saved numerous automatics with just a flush and filter. Low oil level hurts too since the AT is in fact a hydraulic component. When fluid starts to get contaminated or burns, its ability to function is impaired. A dirty filter interrupts fluid flow. All this causes problems like you had. Of course Volvo has their PNP gizmo in there to make things more interesting. I guess my point is that routine maintenance is the key to long vehicle life. Glad you got your car moving again.
