my '83 245gl had the factory alloys. they're the ones with the 20+ spokes or fins and had an aluminum dish that covered the lugnuts. I believe they were 14", and I think they go nicely on any 240. I know you are looking for a 14" rim, but if you are willing to get a whole new set of rubbers, you can't go wrong with the 15" virgoes. those rims are timeless in their design and are perfect for the 240 :o)
