Service Light and antifreeze in oil 700

I have 2 questions-

My Service light came on for the 2nd time in 500 miles. I read some other posts about the service light programmed to light up every 5000 miles and that it is just a reminder to change the oil or do other routine maintenence. I reset it the first time several weeks ago and today it came on again. I picked up this '89 760 turbo with 184K a few months back, so I don't know if the service light has been coming on too early before. What's going on?

Second question. I've noticed the tell-tale sign of antifreeze getting into the oil, the white chalkiness at the end of the oil dipstick. In the process of cleaning the throttle plate to resolve an idle problem, I also found small puddles of white-ish oil in the air hose going to the throttle body. There is some oil in the hose going into the intercooler, but no whiteness in it. I am not familiar with the structure of the intercooler. Could antifreeze be leaking into the intake air through the IC? I have been meaning to try by-passing the IC with a hose to see if the white oil goes away but haven't found any 2 1/2" hose at the auto supply stores. I should also mention that I have lower compression in cylinders 1 and 2 (105psi), so a leaky head gasket is also a possibility. The difference between oil at the input and output of the intercooler seems to point to that as being a problem. Has anyone had leaks in the intercooler? I suppose that because there is evidence of antifreeze on the dipstick there has to be another path in addition to the IC. Comments?
