AC compressor replacement 140-160 1975

I just received a no rust and no dents 164, all original, pretty good shape. It doesn't run and won't hold brake fluid. Closer inspection shows a little antifreeze around the water pump. Perhaps it will cost me a few bucks to get it running.
My non-running question is where do I get parts? There is a hole where the AC
compressor used to be. Can I just insert any good quality compressor and use R134a (after a good cleaning, of course) or does it have to be Volvo specific?
There aren't too many junk yards around the twin cities that carry volvo parts. And I don't anticipate doing my search until the weather gets warmer - April or May. Gives me time for Ebay stuff.
