Is what I am feeling Detonation? Longer Post but a fun Challenge (740 b230ft K block) 700 1989

Well Friends Here is my problem

I am still having problems with a smooth idle, however I think it is my Throtle Position Sensor, But this and my questionable timing may

But I am also experencing somthing wierd when I get a ways into boost or about 3,000 Rpm's in certian gears.

It feels (and Sounds) as if the engine were trying harder and giving me less. Or like the clutch was slipping a bit (which I doubt because it is brand new) But at least you know how it feels.

This problem only occurs when I reach what I would gestimate to be 4-5 psi boost and only in gears 3,4,5. First and second seem to give me all I want whenever.

This is a wierd felling and I am concerned I am playing with the early stages of Detonation Which for the K block could be quick doom!

Please Write back, I will probably be away for a few days but I will reply to all posts, and keep my self out of the yellow LOL.

Thank you friends

And Mery Christmas.
