Testing Cold-Start Injector on B21F 200 1981

I'm trying to test the cold-start injector on my 1981 B21F. The Bentley says on page 240-18 to disconnect the impulse relay. I know the Bentley is really for newer cars. Does a 1981 B21F have an impulse relay? What procedure have people used to test the cold-start injector on this engine?
