Aluminum B20 Intake Manifold 140-160

I just came across an aluminum intake manifold for twin SU's to put on my '73 140 that right now has an iron manifold. What i notice now is that there are a lot more hoses and such that go into the iron manifold, and the aluminum one only has a barb hose fitting in the middle of the balance tube, and a flare fitting on the end of the balance tube that faces the front of the engine. I am not sure what this is suppose to connect to. brake booster maybe?
