Testing Cold-Start Injector on B21F 200 1981

I would suspect that the #1 injector could cause a slightly rough idle as it is not keeping up with the other three injectors as far as the amount of fuel goes (i.e. a some what lean mixture). I would put my money on an air leak at the bellows or some where else in the intake system that is causing your rough idle. Like ALEX mentioned the K-Jet System cannot compensate for any unmetered air so any type of air leak in the system will cause the mixture to go lean and give you that rough idle. Check the hose connections to and from the AAV (Air Aux. Valve) as these hoses sometimes look fine but are hard and brittle due to age. Good Luck & Keep Us Updated!!!

Happy Holidays!!!

Sincerely,
