Tranny question? S90-V90

Hi Poolman,

The Christmas Holidays have put a severe dent in the 960 repair schedule. I've never had a car laid up this long, but my wife has been great about it and I hope to get back 'under' it this afternoon.

The intake manifold assembly is ready to go back on, I've changed out the 'O' ring and the tube on the back of the PCV box. Changed out both knock sensors, and removed and cleaned the EGR tube sensor. I gave up on pulling the EGR valve and reaming it out, (the 'law of diminishing returns' kicked in on that one.)

I've left the manifold off so that I could more easily get at the steering column universal joint. I'm replacing the rack, tie rods and ball joints and it's just easier to get at the joint with the intake out on the 95. ( For some reason there's more stuff in the way in that area on the 95 than on the 98.) As soon as the rack is replaced the manifold goes back on. I hope I remember where everything goes back. There's plenty of hoses and electical connections.

Hope Santa was good to you.
