Pyrotechnical Seat Belts 900

My wife's 944 driver's side seat belt was hanging up finally to point that it would not pull out or retract. After removing the trim, I was able to manually turn the reel by hand to un-jam it. The belt continued to jam while testing it. It felt like a lack of lubrication more that a mechanical failure. Instead of removing the unit and playing with dynimite, I drilled two small holes in the plastic cover over the retractor mechanisam (near side) and sprayed a 1/4 second worth of lubracating oil in each hole while pulling out the belt. Works fine now.

Warning, disconnect the battery before playing with fire.
