OK - My wife put me up to this posting....

As soon as I aquired my '86 244 with 44k last year, I instantly became obsessed with Bricks due to their longevity, reliability, construction, ease to work on, that fact that there was this Brickboard "community", etc. Needless to say, my wife started to hear the praises of 240s from me and soon became aware of the whole obsession. She actualy said that our Brick "is kind of like ET...it is so ugly that it is cute" (she obviously doesn't appriciate the Brick's lines because ours is completely MINT!!).

So a while ago, whenever we would be driving and we saw another 240 (either driving or parked) I would shout out "FORTY!!" ("two forty" would be too much effort). Eventually, my wife would join in and we would do it together, seeing who could spot them out first. Then, a few weeks back, my wife revealed to me that she even says "FORTY" out loud when she is driving BY HERSELF!!!

We consider ourselves to be "normal" people, but were wondering if anybody out there does similar dorky things like this in reagrds to Bricks. If you do, please share with everyone, as we are beginning to think that we are the only ones that are this weird on the planet.
