Day running light 700

Hello, can any one suggest why my right hand day running light wont work.
All my other lights work fine.
I have changed the bulb,cleaned the contacts, it seems there is no power,if it was a bad earth would it not affect other lights?
It is a 89 740, looks a bit rough But I love it.
I think happen to think that any fault finding at the loom will just be out if the question, but if I am missing an obvious fix, I would be glad to here it.
