1979 244 cold start problems 200

Hi all new to this board, My 79 has a hard time starting in cold weather, below about 25 degrees sometimes it won't start at all. I have it narrowed down to 3 things, the fuel pump (going to do first as I have one I can put in) the fuel pressure regulator (any lines on a place to buy one?) and the auxillery air valve (this seems to be something I can check visually)
Any other ideas on things I should look at? I don't have a fuel pressure gage but will probably invest in one soon. Biggest problem is that the problem is only when it is really cold and I HATE cold so I won't go out and work on it then.
Grees
