Carpet replacement - will 244 carpet work in a 242?

The aftermarket carpet suppliers show kits for 244's - but none for 242's. Anyone have any experience with this? Is there a difference in the carpet between the two body styles? I believe the floor pan is the same, and the back seat is in the same position - just not sure about the area where the center post would normally be in the 4 door.
