B21A with Zenith-Stromberg Carb Owners: Wiring Diagram Complete 200

Hello All B21A Owners,

I have done it. I am considering making the wiring harness, with a few improvements in the connectors and wiring harness shrouds. I have gone to 3 electronic stores searching for good quality wire and with correct colors. Radio Shat/Tandy quality, unfortunately, thus far. I will keep searching, until I either find a reliable source or best compromise. I have exact measurements and made a hand sketched diagram. I used a Multimeter to verify all. As discussed in a previous post the Capacitor/Condenser for the Bosch Distributor P/N 0231170284 JFU4 5091 is 0.248 micro Farads. The Black Wire from #1 Terminal is 110cm. Longer or Shorter could change Capacitance. I am not 101% sure of the length, as the wire was cut. Typically, if the wire is coaxial, then it would change Capacitance, depending on length, but a single wite in close proximity to other parallel wires, um, I don't know. I do not have a Capacitance Meter and am not an Electrical Engineer, only have done some related work, many years ago.

Anyway, if anyone is in need of a wiring harness, I could . . . I was quoted $1000(Australian) from the Volvo Dealership. Obviously, I would charge a fraction of the cost to cover parts, driving around, shipping from Australia, and a little bit to put some money in my pocket for my American (living in Australia) ingenuity.

I also have a source for EGR Pipes. They charge $70 new, but I can get them made for a fraction or even less for bulk. If you have you old nuts off the pipes, better still. Those are hard to get items.

I would like to keep these B21A Engines alive and well. I am truly in love with this old technology and simplicity.

Let me know your level of interest. If sufficient and honest (show me your money), then I will get busy, otherwise I will pursue it for my own entertainment value and because I am a damn perfectionist and want everything factory original or at least looking that way and functional. If sufficient interest is expressed, then I will go to the Wrecking Yard that will be closing and get as many Gray(Grey: Queen's English) Connectors, as possible.
