IDing rear diff 120-130

My Amazon started it's life as an automatic, a previous owner converted to manual (why the heck they didn't put in an OD tranny while they were at it is beyond me!), but I understand the rear diff on an auto had a different ratio than the manual did. Is there a simple way to ID what rear diff is on the car?
