ghost in the machine!!! 200

Hey yall,

I have an 87 240 dl wagon. Im having problems with the elctrical system.
Mostly the speedometer and the radio...sometimes the fan.

when I crank up in the morning and start out the speedometer works great. Then when the car is warmed up the speedometer just goes to zero. Sometimes after it drops to zero it will come back and hang around 45 or so. It just seems to dod what it wants with no clear pattern to me.

Besides this, when Im cruising down the road, the radio will simply turn off.
I turn it back on and it will turn off again. It works about half a minute and then turns off again. I have to turn the radio back on 5-6 times before it will stay on again. Sometimes when the radio is off, the cd player makes the sound that it is trying to eject a disk which is not there.

Sometimes the fan runs when I dont even have the fan switch turned on.

none of this effects the engine and running, but it sure is annoying and needs to be fixed.

any help appreciated!!

happy new year!
