How often should I replace my spark plug wires??? 200 1986

I have an '86 240 sedan with just over 300K miles. I do my major service every 25K and alternate with the timing belt on the other 25K at each 50K. I use NGK plugs and drive 25K miles each year. It is an excellent and very dependable car and it uses no oil between its 2500 miles interval oil changes (10W-30 with a Mann oil filter). How often should I be replacing my plug wires? I have been doing it every 50K when I do the timing belt, but can it be stretched out longer or is this a safe interval?

Thanks in advance.
