122 advice please 120-130

Based on your description I don't think the car is worth 2 grand. It would have to be a standard in pretty good shape for me to pay that much. First of all the 122 auto transmissions are notoriously crap. But maybe with a rebuilt one... I would take it for a ride and make sure it goes through the gears without a hitch, and check for leaks. I had an auto once and it was pretty sluggish and eventually jammed up.
I bought a headliner kit from JC Whitney about 5 years ago. Worked out pretty good, although I don't know if they sell them for wagons. The installation was a little tricky. I just had an upholstery shop do the carpet. Came out good. I don't know if Scancar sells kits for carpet or not.
You might want to at least do a compression or leakdown test on the motor. Seems like a lot of miles for a rebuild.
Automatic... I don't know. I wouldn't pay that much, if I bought one at all.
