www.swedishtreasures.com has pretty much everything you'd need to completely re-do the interior- carpet, door panels, headliners, seat upholstry- but re-doing the entire interior would be pretty pricey....

150k is quite a while ago on the engine rebuild, even on a Volvo....

Even if the seller is completely honest, be ready for unseen issues/needs.

Two grand may not seem like too much, but once you start adding things up it'll get expensive. I've seen wagons in really nice shape show up on eBay and go for $2500-3500. I'd pass on this one and keep looking for a better example (and teach your wife to drive a stick while you're looking!).
