Heated mirror / rear window problem 700

Hi

I seem to be getting an occasional problem with the heated mirrow rear window swtich - I've looked in the FAQ and can't see anything there...
The switch keeps on turning itself off after a couple of seconds and then won't work again for a good dozen presses. I can feel and hear the switch click off when this happens. The fuse is fine (well it is now it's the right one in there and not a 10 amp one!).
