Cross-threaded transmission cooler line/rad fitting...options? 900


Hi,

In the rush to go on a trip for New Years I managed to cross-thread the fittings for the return transmission cooler line at the radiator on my '93 960. Can someone recommend a fix for this?

I'm hoping the brass connector at the radiator is replaceable. Then, would it be possible to cut the line and replace the end section? (maybe even add a filter/cooler), or do I have to replace the entire line?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Especially since I had to push it into storage when the car runs perfectly except for it's now bleeding artery.
