How Much Play in Tailshaft is Acceptable? 700 1989

Greetings,

I am in the process of eliminating driveline vibration on my '89 765 Turbo. I replaced the center bearing and bushing and although the vibration is less, it's still there.

The U-joints move freely in all directions,

While I was under the car, I noticed that the tailshaft can be moved a few millimeters in all directions. I'm guessing that the tailshaft bearing is too loose and this may contribute to the vibration (?). I'm going to order a tranny mount and try that first, then I'll proceed to the tailshaft bushing/bearing combo.

Any suggestions/ feedback is much appreciated.
