Bulb failure warning light 700 1987

I experienced a problem with the bulb-out indicator as well. I had put in the "fancy" Sylvania low beams (from GI Joes). On a 1980 240, I put them on both sides, and got that bulb-out indicator on. On a 1987 740 I put one on one side and got the bulb-out indicator. I switched to a standard Wagner H4656 low beam and the bulb-out indicator went out. I'm guessing that the current draw on some selected lights fool the bulb-out detector.

Is there a way to fix that? Those Sylvania lights are kinda nice, they have a wider beam than what I ended up using.
