Ouch 8500 in receipts. I think you better just save the receipts for the springs, shocks, and engine work, stuff you can't see, and get ready to bite the bullet on it. Seems to me $3k is pretty much the ceiling. Might be wiser to keep it for another 15 years one of your children.
