head threads - core shifts 140-160

Late reading last couple of head threads.

The core shift issue is not just a problem for porting.
It the shift is .050", the ports are off that far in one way or another from the valve stem center and valve seats. Because of this, some heads will flow 5 - 10% different from another supposedly identical, unmodified head. 10 - 20% of the heads I see are so bad in terms of core shifts that I would classify them as junk. Yes, they will work in stock form, but at a performance penalty.
