What would you pay for this ES? 1800

Waste of breath. Once a dealer gets it they will see it go to the crusher before making a realistic deal on it.

I once looked at an MGB ('73, near the end of the chrome bumpers) that was advertised as an MGC. It was a GT (hence the confusion for the dumb-a%$ dealer) and I was still interested so I took it for a test drive to give it a good inspection.
Ran like kaka, lots of iffy "repairs" but a decent place to start on a resto or custom cruiser (no rust).
Asking $4500, Offered (very generously, I thought) $900. Was told flat-out it was a "commission sale" and there was no way they could go that low. Gave them my inspection sheet out of good hearted generosity. Car left lot within the week but I don't know if some sucker purchased it or the owner took it back.
