I suggest that the downdraft manifold is worth something even if the carb is only good for parts -- also, jet kits for DGV/DGEV are worth something.

The old R-Sport kits used 44mm Solex ADDHE carbs on the same (highly sought after) manifolds that take 45mm DCOEs or Dellortos just fine. I presume that 40mm Solexes would also bolt up to anything DCOEs would bolt up to. Where to get jets for them I have no idea, though.
