How do you trust your brick for long distance trip

The only car I can totally depend on is a rental car. If it breaks down, I can call and depend on getting get another one.

For a 5 miles or 100k in a 940 and if your zeroed out, I’d carry a fuel pressure relay (a couple if you get them from FCPG), a crank sensor and a fuel injection relay. I have only heard of two map sensor failures but for $40, sure. Make sure the radiator and the heater control valve are not the original.
