Details on Refitting In-Tank Fuel Pump to Sender Assembly , Anyone? 900

Am having difficulty figuring out how to remount the pump to the sender assembly. Specifically how the two metal "straps" and lower fuel pump plastic housing come together. One "strap" seems to hold the spigot assembly to the pump, the other "strap" which is somewhat spring loaded via its z shape should hold the pump to the sender assembly but I can't figure out how. The old pump became disconnected from the sender assembly as I was maneuvering the thing out of the tank. That's why I haven't anything to go by.
