122 advice please 120-130

Thanks Jeff,
My wife also prefers a vehicle with character and is very happy that I can do all of our own repairs, especialliy when we see the repair bills of others. She is not concerned with creature comforts and we prefer a simple way of life. Actually, that is one reason why we want an older Volvo. Where we live if you have more than one vehicle, one of the vehicles, if 25yrs. old or older, can be registered as a collector provided the car is in good, unmodified condition. It doesn't have to be perfect just decent. You can't use it for school or work but the benefits are that you can save substantially on insurance- probably $1200 a year or so. For her the car would be just a putt-around. We have a diesel Land Cruiser for anything other that that. Honda? I wouldn't say never- they're a great car... but, I don't think so...
