It wasn't the fuel pump. It is an electrical problem - PLEASE HELP! 700 1990

Hello Elad; As a previous poster said, check the 700/900 FAQ for more info. But to help you along, I will venture a guess. Assuming that you do not have a Regina fuel system car and have the LH injection,it could be the wiring to the in-tank pump and fuel level sender. There are two fuel pumps, main one under the car and feed pump in the tank. IF the in-tank pump is not working and you have less than a 1/4 tank of gas, there will be little to no fuel available for the main pump to pump. You or someone else needs to check for voltage and current at the wires/connections under the trunk mat for the in-tank pump. Good luck!
