Removing the Instrument Panel 200 1977

The instrument panel of my Volvo 262 from 12/1977 is fixed with 2 screws at the bottom/front side and also with 2 spring-clips on the outer corners of the top edges "which must be freed..."says the Haynes Owners Workshop Manual.
But how? Not a word. I'hve tried but couldn't reach them. Is there anyone who can explane, how I should remove the instrument panel of this 262, because I have to repair my odometer. Thank you in advance and kind regards. Highstreets
