Aye Roll - help 88 speedo 200

Aye Roll - You answered me yesterday about a wagon odometer vs a sedan odometer. I have just learned that the odometer that I am looking to purchase is from a 1987 sedan 244. My car is an 88 sedan 230. I have looked at my speedo and it is a K10042 like you said. The speedo that I am looking at looks a little different than mine. (I have seen a picture of it, front is the same, rear looks a little different, but it will accept the same 3 wires.) I can't get a look at the number underneath. Do you think it will work? The guy is looking for $50. including shipping. Thanks in advance.
