Check the air pressure. It's not uncommon for tires to develop "flat spots" after sitting overnight in the cold. The fact that it smooths out after running a bit (warming up) confirms this. Pump in 2 extra psi to see if it helps. If not, try 4 psi extra.

Some tires run best at 40+ psi. Some are fine at 30 psi. Others run best at 35 psi. You're just going to have to experiment a bit.

There is nothing to be afraid of deviating from the car manufacturer's recommended pressures, which was the general compromise for all conditions for the car brand new and with the OEM tires. Things have changed ... as long as you don't exceed the maximum tire pressure, you'll be alright.
