no spark in no 2,3, and 4 spark plugs 1800 1971

If indeed you have spark at No.1, and none at the other sparkplugs, verify that you're getting 4 evenly spaced sparks by monitoring HT wire out of COIL. If you're getting all sparks (confirms all lobes of points shaft are OK and producing a points opening), one would expect the problem to be in the "distribution"...so if you confirm your original statement, it can ONLY mean that you're loosing it in the dist cap, since this is where it gets "distributed".

Remove, inspect under (and outside surface of) the cap, and the rotor for dirt or carbon tracks, or where HT may leak off. Firing order is irrelevent (obviously if the HT wires are on the wrong holes, the engine wouldn't run so good, but you WOULD expect to see spark on ALL wires), and a breakerless ignition wont fix this either!!
