OOOOPS it aint no B230FT ....... 16v FT (B234FT if I recall correctly) 700

I just bought an engine from a wrecked 764ti

Bought it sight unseen as I knew the seller and knew he was honest. He had a buyer for the engine and pulled it for him, but buyer was a no show. Car was running fine with no real issues (he drove the car around town for a few days with no tag, it was a salvage car from a multi car incident).

OK, the engine was cheap so I bought it. To my suprise, it's a 16v. I don't think these were ever offered in the US (turbo) were they?

Here's the trouble, I have no use for the engine and since the body's been crushed, I can't get anything needed to make it feesible for a transplant.

Is there a US market for this engine with no harness or anything but the engine?

I'm going to get the info off of it later and list it in the classifieds. Don't need anything but my $ back, so no big deal. I've had a few ppl ask me already if they could put it in their project cars. It's my understanding though that the elec systems would need to be changed as well (remember, there's no body to pull anything from). Am I correct?
