HELP! No Start Solved, Yet I Have Another Problem 700 1989

It was my battery that left the car inoperable. Checked it and fully charged it today and the car starts right up.

I checked the alternator brushes and they are long enough - I assume they're OK

When I turn the key into the first position, there is no battery light on the dash, which on my 240 means that the system is not recharging my battery. Is this the case with the 760?. If so, I need to check the bulb and wiring to this circuit.

Anyone having insight into this challenge, please reply.
