Could these two problems be related? 200 1990

Yeah, check the TPS first. It's easier for that to get misadjusted and cause idle hunting than for a IAC to go south. They're pretty reliable from what I know. You could take the IAC and clean it up with some carb cleaner and Q-tips. I'm sure you could check the operation of it somehow with it removed from the vehicle, but I'm not sure how.
