fuel inj relay 87 740 may be the problem? 700

So I started the car and went thru and disconnected one fuel injector at a time just to see what would happen. The rpms would change as I went thru each one and then return to normal as I plugged them back in. I decided to mess with the fuel inj relay that is located on the overflow and when I touch it the car almost died. I don't think it is the relay but a open in the wires but I will resolder the relay and then move on. I will keep the forum posted.
