Years ago when I bought the car I could not find where to install the filter because I did not want to cut the ATF line. Now under some pressure, I came up with the following solution. I had one spare factory ATF line I removed from the car back then when I put in the factory ATF cooler which came with its own ATF line. I cut one end of the spare ATF line with an approximate 90 degree bend, and another approximate 90 degree elbow bend. I unscrewed the ATF return line from radiator and screwed in the end I cut from the spare line with the 90 degree bend facing down. To this I connected on 10-12 inch piece of 3/8 inch inside diameter ATF hose. I bought a brass (gas?) plumbing fitting and a brass barbed fitting to screw on, both at the hardware store, and I screwed these at the end of the ATF return line, now pushed one inch to the right of its normal connection at the radiator. I put one 2.5 inch piece of ATF hose at each end of the Magnefine. The IN piece of hose on the Magnefine, I connected to the elbow bend piece of ATF line, in turn connected to the 10-12 piece of ATF hose. The OUT hose on the Magnifine, I connected to the 90 degree brass fitting on the ATF return line. The Magnefine then nestles vertically very neatly against the side to the radiator (flow arrow pointing up). You can then tie ATF lines to each other with ties. You can also tie ATF hose connection with elbow to bracket that hold A/C hose. Your can even wrap with rubber or matting material the Magnefine filter to prevent any danger from its rubbing against radiator side. It almost looks factory. Hopefully, it will keep ATF clean. As far as I can tell, Magnefine filters have worked very well on the 760T ATF and PS lines, and 960 PS line, for the last 3 or 4 years. Darrell at Emerging Enterprises (Magnefine distributor) is helpful and decent beyond belief.
