Charging system fault? 700 1989

My 3 month-old battery has a slow "drain" if left for a few days. IE, it turns over noticeably slower.

Came home 22km from work, battery voltage is 12.73 with car off. 14hrs later voltage is 12.59, or a drop of 140mv. I checked for current draw on both terminals by removing from battery post and only saw a flicker between 10-20ma. Probably the clock would take this. (If it was 20ma draw, then my clock would consume 2.4w ... seems reasonable).

FYI, I'm using a calibrated Fluke 77 series DMM so it's quite accurate. For ref too, the voltage on my Honda after same 22km trip was 13.08v at rest. This is with a 7yr old battery too!

Next step is charging system. I could use some help in exactly what to check next. Thanks in advance.
