Charging system fault? 700 1989

This is good. It will give me a few tests to perform. And yes, I was a decimal point off in the math!

I might be more inclined to suspect the battery but the last one died this way. It looked like an older battery but I don't know the history of it (purchased car in Mar of 2004).

Not sure if this is related but my stereo does not always retain its presets. It's OEM Volvo but I don't know if the wiring has been altered. It appears to not be getting enough current to retain presets but I haven't taken the time to establish why this would be.
