hi,
i have a 92 240 wgn. recently, i have started to notice a somewhat melodious whistling noise coming from the front. it occurs on both acceleration and deceleration, but is more prominent on deceleration. it can happen at 10 mph or 50 mph. ive shifted the car into neutral during the noise, and it made no difference. (don't know if that proved anything or not?). it appears to be coming from the front passenger wheel area, but i can't say for sure.

any thoughts would be appreciated!
