Replace plastic trim around automatic shift lever 200 1983

yes, I am referring to an automatic. the engage button is the button you press to go from P to D as you stated. and finally, to get the overdrive button out you have to pry it out with a flat blade screwdriver and simply remove the wire connectors. its really an easy job with some watch-out-for-the-flying-pieces fun. once you dive into the project you'll see what I am talking about. email me if you need further help.
