1980 245 Replacement Engine 200

Greetings:

Need the help of the Volvo experts out there...

My girlfriend has a 1980 245 wagon that needs a new engine. Which engine years will fit this car without too much modification?

I don't mind doing a bit of rewiring but I'd like to keep it fairly simple as I'd like to get it running for her asap.

I've also read that the later engines ('85-on) went to the distributor being mounted in the head. Does everything else still bolt up (trans and assy) and if I were to find a complete motor with computer and harness is this the way to go?

I can't seem to find many B21's still around that have low miles, hence my asking...

I just need to get this thing going for the least amount of money and time (she doesn't have much) possible...

Any help/advice would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks,

Steve
