Car Jerks at low speeds S90-V90

I have a 1996 960 with 231,425 miles. At low speeds the car will jerk suddenly then stop and run great. There is no patteren it does it everyday whenever it wants. It's not the transmission it is the engine, I can tell by the way the motor cuts out. I have replaced the plugs, fuel filter and all 6 coil packs. The wires at the coil packs are all tight and I'm not getting any codes so I'm thinking it's mechanical not electrical. Any Ideas?

I am also getting a fuel smell in the mornings, it goes away after the car warms up. See the post from this month. I see no leaks, I'm thinking it may be the o rings in the fuel rail.
