Blown fuse/warning alarm always on 700 1987

Have a 1987 740 Turbo sedan... all of a sudden interior lights don't work and igition alarm beeps continueously. Fuse blown, replacing fuse results in fuse blowing immediately. Thought aftermarket radio wiring might be problem, but removed radio and problem still exists.
Any suggestions.
